Wow, where has the time gone? It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of term so quickly. We have had a great start to the year. We have had fun getting to know each other and we have worked hard to establish routines and expectations. Our end of term reflection proved that we have learnt a lot while also having fun. Thank you all for such a fabulous term. We hope you all have a safe and happy Easter. See you in a couple of weeks 🙂
The kids in 2KR do some fabulous things, both in and out of the classroom. Today we acknowledged some of Jett’s sporting achievements…..
Look ok at all those medals. What a little superstar!
In 2KR we understand the importance of neat presentation and we are always striving to produce our best work. Here is an example of a piece of work that we would all be proud of……
Well done Alyssa. We can see that you have put a lot of effort into this activity and it looks amazing!
We had a visit from the Easter Bunny today. He gave out lots of cuddles and high fives and he even had an Easter egg for everyone – how lucky are we!
Congratulations Jade! You have obviously been working hard on mathletics and all of your effort has been rewarded with Gold – Well done!
For your fabulous attitude and always trying your best. You are an absolute pleasure to teach and we love having you in our grade. Congratulations Raf, you should be super proud of your efforts, we certainly are!
Well done Riley. You are always so well mannered, sensible and responsible. You are kind, considerate and thoughtful and you always try so hard. We are so lucky to have you as a member of our class and we congratulate you on all of your efforts. Good job buddy!
Well Done Desandu! With your friendly nature, your beautiful manners and your enthusiastic attitude, it’s no wonder you received this very special award. Keep up the great work!
Today we worked with a partner to play Number Stairs. You had to take turns to roll 3 dice to form a 3 digit number. You then had to choose a space on the stairs to record the number, making sure the numbers decreased as they went down the stairs. If you couldn’t make a number that fit you had to miss a turn. The winner was the first person to complete the stairs with numbers in order from highest to lowest. We learnt a lot about place value and number order and had lots of fun at the same time……….
